NEW YORK - DECEMBER 30, 1947: Famed dancer/choreographer Martha Graham (of whose work only a scant photographic record exists) rehearses her 'Errand of the Maze' dance with an unnamed male dancer (probably Erick Hawkins) on December 30, 1947, in New York, New York. 'Errand of the Maze' told the Greek myth of Ariadne and the Minotaur in the labyrinth in the palace of King Minos in Knossos on the island of Crete.
