Ca. 1935-ORIGINAL CAPTION READS: An ode to grace is offered by this white chiffon evening gown which Marlene Dietrich, Paramount star of "The Devil is a Woman," is wearing. Designed by Travis Banton for Miss Dietrich's personal wardorbe, the gown typifies this designer's new silhouette for this summer's formal mode. White chiffon , used for the first time in this sophisticated manner, is draped across one shoulder only and is accented by a cluster of the silk carnations Marlene is wearing with everything. Her lace gloves matrch the green flowers and she has several sets of these accessories for the gown. A tiny elastic keeps the gloves secure just above the elbow.
