Artist's Description

(Original Caption) 11/19/1943-Hollywood, CA: Taking a reading: Because the movie is in technicolor, at the last moment before the cameras begin turning, electrician M.G. Cline makes sure the lights are just right to register La Dietrich's blonde hair. Incidentally, the movie marks the first time Marlene has performed a solo dance on the screen.
