Artist's Description
(Original Caption) 4/21/1990-Chicago, IL- To focus attention on the twentieth anniversary of Earth Day, sculptor Jack Kearney constructed this 10-foot-high goat made totally of plastic bottles to be recycled for the Chicago Park District's P.O.P Program. Mr. Kearney, leaning on the sculpture, called attention to the parks program to recycle empty platic pop, water and milk jugs into 6x8 "railroad ties" which are used in playgrounds.
