Jazz king Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong and his orchestra accompany actress Marika Rokk during preliminary shooting of the 1959 film Die nacht vor Der Premiere (The Night Before the Premiere). It will be Armstrong's first appearance in a German film, and he will sing, in German, compositions of the German jazz composer Lotar Olias.
