(Original Caption) The International Society of Photographic Arts has selected a picture of Ingrid Bergman, made by Charles S. ("Scotty") Welbourne, Enterprise Studio photographer, as "The Most Provocative Motion Picture Still of 1946," it was announced today by Sam Opee, President of ISPA. The picture, titled Invitation, is from the film version of Arch of Triumph and shows Miss Bergman ringing a curl of cigarette smoke while she waits. In awarding Welborne the $250.00 first prize, Opee stated, that Invitation, selected from more than 1500 American, British, and French artists, represents a new achievement in the creation of the "provocative" mood through masterful use of black and white photography.
