(Original Caption) NEW YORK-10/17/67-: Wearing a gingham dress and beads around her neck, Susan Manca has her face painted by a hippie friend William Fuller as they make the scene in Greenwich Village where freelance underground film casting expert Charles Bacis was selecting extras. The couple was among some 300 authentic hippies hopefully waiting to be chosen for a Greenwich Village sequence in "For Love of Ivy," starring Sidney Poitier.
