Paratroopers jump out from a helicopter to assist in fighting at Dong Ap Bia, which became known as "Hamburger Hill" in the A Shau Valley in South Vietnam on May 18, 1969. The battle lasted 10 days for the Army of the Republic of Vietnam and the U.S. 101st Airborne Division fighting against the North Vietnamese Army resulting in heavy casualties for all.
