New heavyweight boxer looms up. With a record of 32 knockouts out of a total of 36 bouts, and never having lost a single match in that total number of fights, James "Tut" Jackson, of Washington Court House, Ohio, looms up as a probable contender for heavyweight pugilistic honors. Jackson is but 21, weighs over 190 pounds at real fighting weight. He is matched to fight the venerable "Tham" Langford, the old Boston tar baby, who never was an easy one for many of the so-called comers to beat. Other bouts are being arranged for Jackson with Bill Tate, Kid Norfolk, Jamaica Kid and others. Needless to say, the goal of Jackson's ambitions is a match with the crack Negro heavy, Harry Wills, and then the boss of them all, Dempsey.
