(Original Caption) 5/13/1948- New York, NY: Dogdom at Dunk-erque Ed O'Rourke and Elizabth Connolly believe in both cleanliness and cooperation especially in reference to dogs. During the two-day heat wave that teased New York, they got together in the backyard with whatever puppies they could find. Eddie did the dunking and Elizabth clothes pinned them.
