(Original Caption) The painter and draughtsman George Gross, who had been sentenced to a fine of 1000 Marks instead of a forfeited punishment of two months in prison by the Court at Charlottenburg, for drawings, which represented injuries to the Christian Church, was now acquitted. He had made theater decorations and drawings for the novel, The Brave Soldier Schwejk.
