The macaron is a small almond cake, grainy and smooth, with a rounded shape, about 3 to 5 cm in diameter, a specialty of several French cities and regions, and whose recipe and aspect vary: Amiens, Boulay , Chartres, Cormery, Joyeuse, The Dorat, Massiac, Montmorillon, Nancy, RĂ©au, St. Emilion, St. Croix Lannion or Sault.
