Description
(Original Caption) 1/12/1926: New York, NY: Photo shows the exterior of 52 Clay St. Brooklyn where Wiedro Kamyck's 50 gallon still exploded, endangering him, his wife and seven children. He fled in an auto, clothes burning, and was captured after a chase and taken to a hospital, under arrest. The ladder is paced to the room where firemen rescued Kamyck's family. The house was practically demolished.
