Description
(Original Caption) Ferenc Nags, who was prime minister of Hungary in 1946, is shown as he appeared before a house committee investigating Communist aggression at the federal courthouse. Mr. Nagy submitted a 26 page brief to the committee describing conditions in Hungary under the Reds. He and Msgr. Bela Varga, who also appeared before the committee today, campaigned for the Small Holders Party, which received 58 percent of the popular vote, before Marshal Klementi Voroshilov, Russian chief of the Allied Control Commission, insisted that Hungary be given a coalition government.
