Artist's Description

(Original Caption) Lt. Cmdr. Henry D. Lesesne, USN, runs towards his family, on hand to greet him, as he and 15 other POWs landed here 4/1, aboard the last POW plane to arrive at Travis. Running towards Lesesne are his wife, Linda, and their daughters Elizabeth, Lisa, and Victoria. Lesesne, from Columbia, South Carolina, and Lemoore, California, was shot down on a combat mission over North Vietnam on July 11, 1972.
