(Original Caption) 7/29/1924-Paris, France-: Thirty tons of paint are being used in the repainting of the Eiffel Tower, and now workmen are now nearly finished with this difficult task. The work was started six months ago and the painters defied death many times in scaling the great steel structure. This photo shows an elevator shaft running in the Eiffel Tower.
