(Original Caption) San Diego: A unexpected sight for visitors at the San Diego Zoo was the disposal of Halloween leftover pumpkins as Tembo, a 21-year-old African elephant, gobbles whole what turns out to be a favorite treat for elephants. The zoo had pumpkins in a variety of displays that children's groups had decorated and when the trainers wheel-barrel out a load of the once-a-year treats, the elephants come running.
