(Original Caption) Girls Pay Off Novel Election Bet. New York: Miss Bobbie Lee and Miss Yolando Losee have boyfriends on the N.Y.U. football team with whom they could not agree as to who would be elected while the Governor. The girls insisted that Ogden Mills would be elected while the boys favored Al Smith. The girls agreed that if their candidate was beaten they would wear the boys football tags on their way to business. While the boys promised to walk to and from classes in a full dress suit and barefooted if their candidate lost. The girls lost the bet and are pictured here walking down Broadway to report for the matinee performance at the Cosmopolitan Theater where they are appearing in Naughty Riquette.
