(Original Caption) Dr. Albert Schweitzer (right), in Oslo to deliver his acceptance speech for the 1953 Nobel Peace Prize, chats with Norwegian Foreign Minister Halvard Lange at a luncheon in honor of Dr. Schweitzer at Oslo's French Embassy. The Philosopher, Organist, Writer, Medical and Religious Missionary and Humanitarian warned in his speech that mankind must abolish war for ethical reasons. He said it can be done "in our era." The 79-year old Alsatian Doctor praised the UN.
