(Original Caption) 4/29/1960-Washington, DC- Television disc jockey Dick Clark as he appeared before the House payola investigators. He said that he has been, "convicted, condemned and denounced," on payola charges before being given a chance to tell his side of the story. The 31-year-old TV star said that he had never accepted payola.
