Design for a jug', (1881). A jug or ewer decorated with 'a triumphant procession of Venus across the sea, attended by tritons, nymphs, and cupids'. Engraving after an undated drawing, possibly a design for a piece to be carried out in ceramic or metalwork. From "The South Kensington Museum", a book of engraved illustrations, with descriptions, of the works of art in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (formerly known as the South Kensington Museum).
