Culloden Moor (aka Drummossie Moor)in Inverness looking towards the Moray Firth with British soldiers firing on fleeing and dying soldiers who are being tended by their women, April 1746. The battle was the last one in the 2nd Jacobite Rising when the supporters of Bonnie Prince Charlie were routed. Published 1836 Original Artwork: Artist - Thomas Allom (1804 - 1872).
