(Original Caption) NEW YORK: Here is the cover of the first issue of The Crisis, the monthly magazine of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), which was published in November of 1910. It's present editor, Henry Lee Moon, said in an interview, that "It helped shape my own thinking and development and that of a whole group of Negroes of my generation who had any sort of intellectual aspirations."
