Construction of the Rivoli street (Rue de Rivoli) in Paris at night with electric lighting at the beginning of the 19th Century. Carbon arc lamps produced this light. It was the first artificial light sources during industrialization. A carbon arc lamp is an artificial light source with a burning in air arc between graphite electrodes.
