This is an high resolution astrophotography of The Great Orion Nebula, in the constellation Orion (The Hunter) On the left hand is the blue cold reflection nebula (Running Man ,also designated NGC 1977) on the right hand there is M42 the gigantic red emissions nebula (ionized hydrogen gas) where a lot of new stars are born.The image is taken with a Canon EOS 300 (modify for Astro images) in the in prime focus of professional mirror-telescope (newtonian) 1200mm f/4 Exposure time is 210 minutes altogether.This is a mosaic of 2 images.
