(Original Caption) Paris, France: Stockings were highlighted for the first time when Christian Dior (right), noted French designer, exhibited his French collection. The hose, which either continued the dress' color scheme from hem to ankles or afforded a direct contrast, ranged in shades from tender peach to ink black. The colors are called "Boulevard Banquet." Here a model swirls the skirt of a light blue crepe dress to feature the sheer navy blue stockings.
