(Original Caption) 1933-Los Angeles, CA- A crowd of boys and some girls, too, today proudly carried their miniature yachts down to the lake in Echo Park and sailed them in the eleventh annual Regatta of The Evening Herald and Express. Here is a typical scene at the traditional corinthian classic of youth competing for The Evening Herald and Expres trophies, individual cups for victors in the various divisions and a perpetual cup for the school scoring the most points. Parents and other spectators in numbers watch the races of boats built by their young skippers.
