(Original Caption) Chief Black Eagle, (left) Mohawk Indian member of famous 77th Division in France, gives adobe plaque of the original "Thunder Bird" from which the NRA Eagle insignia was developed, to Harry Schoen, a director of the 77th Division Association, at the 77th's headquarters in New York City, Sept. 11th. This plaque will be presented to General Hugh S. Johnson, NRA chief, when he speaks at the 15th Annual Reunion Dinner of the 77th, on Sept. 23rd at the Hotel Astor, New York City.
