Description
(Original Caption) 10/4/1942- It takes from 12 to 14 hours to make a batch of Mustard Gas. Part of this time is taken up with purification, which you see in progress here with Father Hickey and Professor Hanley collaborating. Crude product is in the retort at left and vapors, shorn of impurities, condense in flask at right.
