Artist's Description

(Original Caption) Big-money quiz winner Charles Van Doren enters a taxi here, Oct. 23 after conferring with New York County District Attorney Frank S. Hogan for 75 minutes, but Van Doren declined to comment on the meeting. Van Doren, who said he met with Hogan voluntarily, told newsmen, "I'm sorry, I can't comment. I'm in a hurry. I have a class." Van Doren teaches at Columbia University."
