Description
Wounded soldiers of the 369th Infantry Regiment, known as the "Harlem Hellfighters," parade up Fifth Avenue in New York City upon their return from France. Part of the 93rd Infantry Division, the 369th fought alongside the French Army during World War I. Prior to their federal service in the war, the soldiers were part of the 15th Infantry Regiment of the New York National Guard.
