Ali McGraw was one of the top female box office stars in the 1970s, with iconic roles in late '60s and early '70s films such as 'Goodbye, Columbus' (1969), 'Love Story' (1970), and 'The Getaway' (1972), sharing bills with Ryan O' Neal, Kris Kristofferson, and Steve McQueen, with whom she had a romantic relationship. MacGraw began her career as a fashion model for Vogue magazine, and worked for years as a photography assistant at Harper's Bazaar magazine to storied fashion doyenne, Diana Vreeland.
