Description
The Fountains of Trafalgar Square London England UK. The square is named after the Battle of Trafalgar, a British naval victory in the Napoleonic Wars with France and Spain that took place on 21 October 1805 off the coast of Cape Trafalgar, southwest Spain. The fountains were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and each fountain holds about 50,000 gallons of water. Here the Canadian Embassy forms a backdrop looking west.
