FEZ, MOROCCO - 2ND FEBRUARY 2018 - The library curator reads from a 12th Century copy of "the Miracle of Medicine" by Ibn Tufail, the only remaining copy in the world at the Al-Karaouine Mosque and University, Fez Medina, Morocco. The Marinid dynasty expanded the Al-Karaouine library in 1359, adding a large space stacked with more than 20,000 hand-written books dating from the early Middle Ages. It also includes 4,000 rare texts and manuscripts.
