Tongue cancer. Light micrograph of a section through a squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue. Here large sheets of pleomorphic keratinocytes make up the tumour. The stroma contains a large infiltrate of lymphocytes. Magnification: x120 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
