A suggestive cityscape on the roofs of the Prati district in the historic center of Rome near the Vatican City and St. Peter's Basilica (left on the horizon). Prati is a historic and elegant quarter built at the end of the 19th century after the unification of Italy and the definition of Rome as the capital of the new nation, to host the growing population of the city and the state upper middle class. The Basilica of St. Peter's, in the Vatican, is the center of the Catholic religion, one of the most visited places in the world and in Rome for its immense artistic and architectural treasures. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle image in high definition format.
