Artist's Description

Tombstone, Arizona, USA - September 20, 2021: Mechanical Palomino horse replica coin operated ride for children.

Tombstone is a famous historic city in Arizona, United States, founded in 1877. It became one of the last boomtowns in the American frontier. The town's population grew significantly into the mid-1880s from 100 to around 14,000 in less than seven years. The local mines produced over $50 million in silver bullion. It is best known as the site of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral which is reenacted daily and presently draws most of its revenue from tourism by maintaining the Wild West town theme and character with its building facades and stage coach rides.
