Artist's Description

Plice are investigating the bombin late Saturday, March 24th, of John the Barber's Basement Shop, near the uptown entrance of the I.R.T. subway station at East 51st Street and Lexington Avenue, in New York City. It is thought the bomb plot is rather a grudge instead of a result of a labour plot in the subway. John the Barber, whose real name is John Reisler, first manager of Jack Dempsey, has not occupied the shop for 18 months. He was unable to give the police any aid in regards to the bomb outrage.
