BELEM, BRAZIL, MAY O5, 2017: Movement of boats on Guama River with the city of Belem in the background. Surrounded by Guajara Bay and Guama River, Belem has on its edge a large number of small ports, base of arrival and departures for passengers to the interior´s cities of Para State and Manaus. The city of Belem is the capital of Para State and the second largest city in northern Brazil. Its economy is based in commerce, services, tourism and industry. With a population of 1,5 millions inhabitants ( Source: IBGE - Brazilian Institute of Geography And Statistics- 2016 ), a pulsant nightlife, musical movements - like "Brega", "Techno Brega", "Arraial do Pavulagem" - and a cuisine of strong indigenous influence, the city is also considered the main entrance gate to brazilian Amazon Region.
