'13th Century...Detail of a painted ceiling...from a building in the Poncelet Strasse...now in the Metz Town Museum [Musée de La Cour d'Or]...one of the oldest painted ceilings preserved or known at the present time'. The house belonged to the chapter of the collegiate church of Notre-Dame-la-Ronde. After R. Borrmann.
